In furtherance of our Institute’s statutory responsibility of enhancing the manpower base of the Nigerian capital market through the CPD programme, The Institute is inviting everyone to a one-day training workshop on Capital Market Reforms – Issues and Challenges on Thursday, July 28, 2011.

Recent events in the Nigerian capital market have necessitated a critical review of the activities of market participants in general, and the operational structure of capital market operators in particular. Although there are conflicting views about the way forward, most stakeholders agree that there is need for far – reaching reforms to be instituted in the Nigerian capital market if the sector would be properly positioned for the challenges of the future.

In response to this, the Institute has designed the workshop to address, among other things, this important topical discourse in the contemporary Nigerian economy with a view to generating viable options on the way to strengthen the market.
