Apply For Exam

PLEASE NOTE THAT EXEMPTIONS MUST BE APPLIED FOR IN ADVANCE OF AN EXAMINATION ENTRY REGISTRATION.

Exemptions from specific examination subjects in levels 1 and 2 can be granted based on approved courses of qualifications . You MUST apply for any exemption(s) prior to submitting your exam registration form (do not submit along with your exam registration form).

If your qualification is not on our list of approved qualifications, the Institute will assess your particular qualification on a case by case basis. An exemption is only considered in respect of educational or professional qualifications which contain relevant content to the Institute's programmes. You will need to provide evidence (transcripts and detailed course syllabus) that you have studied all the material included in that paper's syllabus to a level equivalent to that required by the CIS examiners before the exemption can be granted.

If your qualification is listed, please send in a copy of your qualification certificate or statement of results with your Exemption Application, so that a confirmation letter of your exemptions can be issued to you. All students must apply for exemptions prior to enrolling for an examination. It is important that your exemptions have been approved before you submit your examination entry form.
