Student in a training contract
A prospective ACS student who intends to practise must register
as student in a training contract in a recognised training
organisation. He must be working and be issued with both
Employment Contract and Training Contract. The ACS training
programme is designed to equip students with the skills
they will need to become a professional securities and
investment adviser. The training contract will require
that students receive practical on-the-job training alongside
their preparation for the exams for a minimum period of
three years. To download Contract Training form click here.
Independent Student
A prospective ACS student can register as an independent
student if he is not working in a recognised training organization.
Registration as an independent student allows applicant
to sit ACS examination without having the relevant practical
working experience. A student registered as an independent
student can qualify to practise if he completes a minimum
of a year’s work experience under a training contract
after the date of registration.
If you are interested in registering for the ACS and have
a qualification not listed above, please email us at
