The Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers wishes to inform its student members that registration for March 2010 Professional Examinations of the Institute are now available at its website www.cisnigeria.com

INSTRUCTIONS FOR COMPLETING ONLINE EXAMINATION APPLICATION:

•  Log into Student's section of the CIS Portal. Portal Login

•  Before you make any payment, tick subjects to be written on the application form & check Total Fees Due field on the same form. Total Fees Due field will display ALL amounts which must be paid (including outstanding dues, etc), before exam application can be accepted

•  You can pay for your examination and other forms of payment through the eTranzact by following these steps:

• i. Visit any Bank on Etranzact platform and ask for payment on eTranzact Console. They are: Access Bank, AfriBank Plc, BankPHB, First City Monument Bank, First Bank Plc, GT Bank Plc, Intercontinental Bank, Stanbic IBTC, Sterling Bank, Zenith Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity Bank Plc, FinBank Plc, SpringBank Plc, Oceanic Bank, UBA Group, Skye Bank, Union Bank, Unity Bank and Wema Bank Plc

• ii. Additional N300 bank charge should be added to the sum you are paying into CIS eTranzact account

• iii. Ensure that the Teller inputs your required information Registration Number, number of paper(s) you are writing and amount paid

• iv. The teller to generate Confirmation Order Number and Receipt Number

• Go to www.cisnigeria.com, click on My CIS, select the exam level you want to register for and proceed with your exam registration.

•  Click on eTranzact, enter the code given to you at the bank to complete your examination registration. Note that the amount paid in the bank less charges will be uploaded. You must print a copy of your online receipt to complete the application process .

•  You will also need a scanned copy of your colour passport photograph (white background) to complete the registration; Please note that your passport photograph must show both ears and must not be more than 20kb in size (JPEG format).

ELIGIBILITY: Only registered students of the Institute with student registration numbers are eligible to take the examinations. The candidate must also be in good financial standing.

EXAMINATION PERIOD:
Tuesday, March 30, 2010 to Thursday, April1, 2010.

EXAMINATION CENTRES:
The examinations will be held in seven locations: Abuja, Benin, Enugu, Ibadan, Kano, Lagos and Port Harcourt.

EXAMINATION FEES:
Examination Registration fee is N5,000 while Examination fee is N5,000 per subject. You will need to pay additional N500 to cover online checking of result and N300 for Bank Charges. Candidate must register for all papers not yet passed in each examination level. Combination of examination papers of different Levels are not allowed

PERIOD OF NORMAL EXAMINATION ENTRY:
Monday January 11, 2010 to Monday, February 15, 2010

LATE ENTRY:
There will be no late examination registration entry.

RETENTION OF EXAMINATION PAPERS PASSED:
Candidates will be credited with any examination paper passed.
